Hi All,

So lots of changes in my life over the past 3 months! Will share more soon. In the mean time, I'm working on a website for a friend who is a stone sculptor in Collingwood, Ontario. If you have any thoughts, let me know.

If you don't live in Ontario, this article really doesn't apply to you, though it doesn't hurt to exert a little common sense and slow down when you're passing parked cars on a highway (police or not).

The story is about an Ontario teacher who cam up to two police cars who had pulled over another motorist. He was then pulled over himself; for failing to pull into the left lane when passing a police car with their lights flashing. This was no minor fine either. He was handed a ticket for $490!!!

It seems that for the past two years, there has been a law in the Highway Traffic Act that mandates that we must pull into the left lane (if possible) when passing a stopped emergency vehicle that has their flashing lights on.

I didn't know that ... and I'm guessing neither did you.
