So lots of changes in my life over the past 3 months! Will share more soon. In the mean time, I'm working on a website for a friend who is a stone sculptor in Collingwood, Ontario. If you have any thoughts, let me know.

Do you Twitter? I do. About 10 - 15 times a day. Why? I'm not really sure why I started, but it seems now I just can't stop. I Twitter when I wake up. I Twitter throughout the day. I Twitter at night. Sometimes I even wake up in the middle of the night and Twitter ... I think I have a problem :) Twitter is a very neat micro blogging site. It is the brainchild of the founder of Blogger (now Google owned) and Odeo. The idea is that you tell the world what you're doing in 140 characters or less. I know what you're probably thinking: I already do that on my facebook profile, or on Live Messenger, or Skype. Truth is, you're right. The neat thing about twitter though, is that not only can you tell people what you're doing, but you can also follow your friends who Twitter. From there, you can tie your twitter account to your cell phone and update twitter via a sms - text message - from your phone. Twitter can also be set to notify you when your friends update what they're doing. Very cool and easy way to stay connected. I've been using Twitter on and off for about a year now, but lately I've rediscovered it. I was browsing a friends profile on Facebook about two weeks ago, and I noticed that their status read "is twittering". After digging a bit - really I just scrolled down - I saw that they had the Twitter application added to their Facebook profile. When I added the application to my own profile, I was presented with an option to allow Twitter to update my status on Facebook .... of course I said yes. By doing this, now when I update Twitter, my Facebook profile is automatically updated (it also updates my Skype profile). Basically, Twitter has made it easier for me to tell my friends what I'm doing by allowing me to only have to type the update in one place. Its like a social networking dream come true :) Ok, maybe not quite that far, but it is very nice to be able to only update once, and twitter takes care of the rest.
